Our new Oceanfront Pavilion at 14 Sea Street (located right at the Pelham House Resort) will feature unrivaled views of Nantucket Sound, space for up to 250 guests and an incredible rooftop bar. Our culinary team offers customized menu selections - all coordinated and personalized by our Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef. Our Wedding Coordinator is here to assist throughout the planning process with extensive industry knowledge and fine attention to executing the event you envisioned. Meet The Culinary Team
The Pelham House Resort is proud to announce the hiring of our new Executive Chef Daniel Cote. Dan is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a bachelor's degree in culinary arts. He joined Chatham Bars Inn (CBI) in 2012. At CBI, he dove right into his role as Garde manager and was noted for his attention to detail, consistency in quality of product and ability to lead a successful team of mostly seasonal staff that returned year after year. Due to Dan's efficiency in the kitchen, work ethic and professionalism he was promoted to Banquet Chef, overlooking both Banquet and Garde kitchens in April of 2013. In February of 2017, Dan was promoted to Executive Sous Chef. Just a few highlights of his responsibilities over the last 2 years as Sous chef: Create all food menus, manage the daily operation of 4 restaurants and banquet kitchens, and hire and train up to 90 cooks each year.
Dan fully understands the intricacies of how to smoothly run a busy banquet line in the height of the season, as well as producing and executing in the off-season for big events when the staff is significantly less. The level in which he supports his staff, particularly newer culinary staff members is noted by all his co-workers. They have been able to grow, obtain knowledge and foster their passion under his calming influence in a very busy environment.
Over the years, Dan's responsibilities grew, and he continued to execute with finesse and professionalism.
Dan starts on November 1st , but has already began to shape our culinary department and team.
The Pelham House Resort is proud to announce the hiring of our new Executive Pastry Chef PattiAnne Curtin. PattiAnne is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts management. While at CIA she worked at Taste Budds Bakery, and interned at John's Island Club. After graduation, she worked as the pastry chef of Main Course, a popular catering company in New Paltz, NY. From there, she moved to Cape Cod to work a seasonal job that turned into something more. She has been living on the Cape for the past six and a half years working as the assistant pastry chef at Chatham Bars Inn. During her time there, she was able to hone her managerial skills training new staff, running a successful production kitchen and creating some wonderful works of edible art. PattiAnne has a great passion for desserts and wedding cakes with designs and flavors that leave a lasting impression on everyone. She is excited to bring her talents to the Pelham House Resort and create some lifelong memories for more guests.
