The Pelham House

For the past 20 years Edmund I. Shamsi and Boston Group Development, Inc. have been developing and building luxury condominiums, single family residences and commercial office buildings throughout Boston, Brookline and Cape Cod. Mr. Shamsi has a reputation for delivering the highest quality product and paying special attention to the final details of every property. One of Mr. Shamsi’s many notable Cape Cod projects is the Captain Farris House located at 308 Old Main St., Bass River Village. This project involved a complete renovation of a home listed on the National Register of Historic Places that was converted to a nationally acclaimed bed and breakfast.

Bob and John McCarthy, a father and son team, have been in the hotel sales and management business for the past nine years. Bob McCarthy owned and managed the Pelham house for the past nine years. He also operated a successful real estate business for more than twenty five years. John McCarthy graduated college in 2000 with a business management degree and owned and managed his own motel located on Cape Cod for three years. Following the sale of his motel, John joined forces with Bob at the Pelham House Resort. Both Bob and John come from a long line of family with strong connections to the Cape. They are proud to represent the Pelham House Resort and its new condominium owners.
